The video was made in the English countryside not far from where I live. I used a river and some woodland that I know and love intimately they are places of calm, soothing both body and mind. I used these two locations to make the work as personal as I could, I posed for a new series figurative images to complement the locations and the images.

The sound was recorded on site and has been unobtrusively introduced into the video.

This was my first video in the 16:9 format and also the first to include video footage combined with cross fading still images. Working in 16:9 for both moving footage and still images was a new experience for me. The format does require diferent thought processes (to 4:3 or 3:2) to make a harmonious image. I can understand why some cinematographers make the beautiful images that appear as 'sides' in some films, they see something that just cries out to be filmed for just a few seconds.

The video is 4 minutes 22 seconds long in 16:9 format.

The video is in HD 720p 1280 x 720
